Scalable
IQ Energy Australia's units are designed to be modular so that they can be fitted together to scale up to various waste streams and avoids the need to overbuild a facility to cater to future volumes of waste or the need for the aggregation of wastes. This allows the units to be installed in a range of locations large or small, urban or regional.
Variable Waste Stream Processing
IQ Energy Australia are in the process of designing and demonstrating units that can work with you to address a variety of waste streams, from biosolids, dirty and mixed plastics, medical waste, contaminated soils to contaminated organics.
Automated
The various IQ Units are highly automated with simple and effective design. They have exceptional visibility with remote monitoring and PLC control systems with user-friendly interfaces. This means full emergency procedures are built into the programming and the operators do not need to be high skilled engineers as training and support can be provided by IQ Energy. This allows the process to be refined as waste streams change to maximise the yield.
Positive Impact on GHGs
For Example: Intercepting methane that would be produced by landfill and wastewater plants & sequestering carbon as char. Another Example: For the ORC unit offsetting power needs by utilising onsite waste heat to generate power.
Valuable Resources
Through the variable waste streams that IQ units process there are different valuable resources that can be produced depending on the desired outcome and process, examples of these outputs are trade quality water, biochar, fertiliser or mineral ash, gas, oil, heat or CO2. These resources are safe and will meet regulatory standards and can be utilised for industrial, community or agriculture purposes, . The IQ Pyrolyser and IQ Gasifier both have sophisticated decontamination processes built into them.
Manufactured Approach
IQ Energy Australia takes a manufactured approach which allows the units to be modular and compact, as well as replicable. This also means a much lower capital cost per tonne of waste processed and lower operating costs. By being manufactured the units can be affordable, installed directly on a pre-existing site without significant infrastructure building, as well as reduces time and costs for implementation and allows rapid deployment.
